Live Update from AMP
As usual, the Association for Molecular Pathology Annual Meeting & Exhibits is jam-packed with informative educational sessions. This morning started with the Genetics Plenary Session, focusing on genetics in cardiovascular disease. Jonathan Seidman, PhD, of the Harvard Medical School in Boston, discussed the genetic causes of cardiomyopathy. Elizabeth McNally, MD, PhD, of the University of Chicago, followed up with a conversation about genetic testing for inherited cardiovascular diseases, complete with fascinating familial case studies.
Between sessions, attendees are enjoying exploring the latest and greatest technologies on the exhibit hall floor. Groundbreaking posters are also on display and attendees have opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with poster presenters, encouraging information-sharing and collaboration.
