Staying Social at AMP

Published November 18, 2011 9:14 PM by Kelly Graham

Friday at the AMP Annual Meeting was jam-packed with valuable educational sessions and a crowded exhibit hall. Attendees balanced informational workshops and symposia with booth tours and poster sessions, all while networking with old and new friends and colleagues. There’s a pleasantly positive vibe in the air and attendees, speakers, and companies who took time to chat with ADVANCE all seem to look forward to continuing to watch the potential of molecular pathology reveal itself.

The Association for Molecular Pathology is also promoting its “CHAMP 2.0” at the conference. CHAMP is the popular members-only listserv, now expanding into a more comprehensive social network for AMP members. Check it out here.

We'd love to see more of you using the #amp2011 hashtag on Twitter--there's so much going on at the conference, and we want to know which sessions you've loved that we might have missed! Be sure to keep up with us on Facebook, too—we’re posting pictures and quick updates from the show!

P.S.—I didn’t get a chance to check out the Idaho Technologies/FilmArray sample game. If you were there, tell us about it in the comments section!
