Published May 26, 2010 3:05 PM by Kelly Graham

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), the world leader in oligonucleotide synthesis, has been named one of the top 10 ‘Best Places to Work in Industry’ among small companies in a poll of research staff conducted by a leading magazine. Published in the May issue of The Scientist, the poll put IDT 6th in the small company category, exceeding its 2009 placement of 8th.

Dr. Joseph A. Walder, IDT’s founder and CEO, comments, “We are pleased to be named for a second year as a leading place to work, especially since this also reflects the quality and expertise of our staff. IDT has always focused on providing the very best products for its customers and one way we accomplish this is to provide a great place for people to work and be at the forefront of research into new technologies.”

Respondents were asked to assess their working environment according to 45 criteria in 8 different categories, including job satisfaction, benefits, training and integrity.
