Tobias Gilk, trained as an architect, has been working in support of medical imaging for more than 10 years. He’s particularly fascinated by MR and currently serves on the ACR’s MR Safety Committee (an architect on a radiology professional association committee?!). Gilk recently has contributed to rewrites of the Veterans Administration’s design guides for their imaging series, which includes MRI, CT, PET, interventional, ultrasound and radiography.
