Holiday Cheer
In case you haven't heard you only have a few days left to complete your Christmas shopping. I do my Christmas shopping early to avoid the chaos. I have never been able to enjoy shopping with the masses. The idea of driving around the parking lot several times to find a parking space and being squeezed like a sandwich between all the excited shoppers just isn't appealing. My kids love the mall and looking at the decorations but I cannot stand it. I would rather just drive through our neighborhood to look at the decorations. This doesn't involve getting out of my car or trying to move through the crowds to see the decorations.
Some people love to shop online but I am a little hesitant having my personal information out there in cyberspace. This shopping phenomenon is known as Cyber Monday. Instead of going to the shopping mall, these consumers do their shopping online the Monday following Thanksgiving. To lure consumers, retailers are offering free shipping across all products offered by 22.5% of all retailers surveyed.
Whether you do your shopping the old fashioned way or in Cyberspace, Christmas will be here in a blink of an eye. I hope you are all ready!
