This software was become a lifesaver and time saver. It works exactly as you described it. I usually re-dictate not actually looking at the screen much and then edit by re-listening to the tape and editing the words so I do not have the 'trickery' problem. This tool has saved a lot of pain in my hands and wrists and has cut my productivity down by 2 hours each tape. While I can type faster than the SR can the benefits definitely outweigh the small reduction in speed and as the SR learns more from my speaking habits the fewer mistakes it makes. I also purchased the off-the-shelf brand and I was pleasantly surprised by how many medical terms and drugs the program recognizes and learns. I definitely endorse this software as well.&lt;/p&gt;
