During the 10 months I worked for them every single paycheck was short by at least 500 lines, and one was even 1500 lines short. Even though the linecount I submitted to them was obtained from their own linecount provided at the end of each document, I was told I must have miscounted. So, AHDI got a big fat check in their account, but what about the $1000 my paychecks were short? I seriously doubt I am going to be able to recover $1000 worth of product from AHDI in the time allotted. AHDI is not about individual transcriptionists, it is about the companies (like Medquist) that provide transcription services to the various medical organizations. So basically Medquist has lost nothing and the individual transcriptionist has been robbed and left with no way to recover the debt.
