Name Those Tunes

Here's a quick round of musical trivia related to the 2008 campaign, with facts sourced from Paste magazine's November 2007 issue.

Q: Which presidential candidate plays bass in a band that has opened for Grand Funk Railroad and REO Speedwagon?

Clue: In his home state of Arkansas, his political record includes issuing a pardon for a decades-old reckless-driving charge against Keith Richards.

A: Mike Huckabee.

Now let's see if you can match the candidate with his/her song:

1) John Edwards                        a) "You and I" (Celine Dion)

2) Rudy Giuliani                         b) "Our Country" (John Mellencamp)

3) Hillary Clinton                        c) "Barbara Ann" (Beach Boys parody)

4) John McCain                          d) "Only in America" (Brooks & Dunn)

1-b; 2-d; 3-a; 4-c

I only got one out of the four matching questions correct. It was the Hilary Clinton song.
