CIO Unplugged

About CIO Unplugged

"CIO Unplugged" will give you a transparent window into the thinking of a health care CIO. I will draw on my experiences as a combat medic and an anesthesia assistant. My health care management experience in small not-for-profit community hospitals and my leadership journey into the for-profit realm with HCA and not-for-profit academic medicine will offer further insight. And lastly, my views as a member of a faith-based health system will round it all out. The focus will be less on bits and bytes and more on professional development: leadership, passion, vision and trends. I will showcase the different CIO roles, which include Chief Information Officer, Chief Implementer Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Intuition Officer, Chief Infomercial Officer, Chief Inspiration Officer, and soon, Chief Ironman Officer. I will also respond to requests and cover topics/issues of import to you.

The views and opinions expressed in this blog are mine personally, and are not necessarily representative of Texas Health Resources or its subsidiaries.
