
A 15-year LPN, Steppie has worked in a variety of nursing disciplines including geriatrics, home health, family medicine, rehabilitation and pediatrics. She has served as a charge nurse in long-term care and as a clinical coordinator in home health.
She entered the HIV/AIDS field in 2005 when she took a position as medication adherence nurse in the Comprehensive HIV Clinic at Lancaster (PA) General Hospital, where she’s been employed since 2000. She considers caring for HIV/AIDS patients her passion and life’s work. She has been published in multiple healthcare publications and is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior/applied psychology at Albright College, Reading, PA.
