ADVANCE Perspective: LTC

What is a blog?

Published October 15, 2007 3:46 PM by Liz Rosto
The term "blog" is derived from "Web log." Blogs are basically online journals that often combine text, images and links to other blogs and Web pages. The ability for readers to leave comments is an important part of blogs. In the past few years, blogging has really taken off, as evidenced by the blog search engine Technorati, which currently lists more than 106 million blogs.

In our new online community, Inside LTC, we plan to use this forum to keep you up to date on the latest LTC news and offer unique perspectives on the issues that affect you most.

It is also an opportunity to make your voice heard. You can post your comments at the end of any blog entry, and if you see something you think would make for an interesting discussion topic, e-mail me at erosto@merion.com.

As we continue to add to this forum, we hope you'll be a part of our blogging adventure!
