Raising the Bar

Published October 23, 2007 12:15 PM by Adkins-Ali Carrie

St. Mary's Hospital in County Monaghan in Ireland has an interesting activity for residents and visitors: a pub.

Assistant Director of Nursing, Rose Mooney, explains that:

"Because most of our lives ... centre around the pub or some kind of recreational activity. ... We should try and you know, continue with that. The bar also charges standard prices, which give the facility a little extra revenue.
