Stressing Quality Improvement
This morning I attended an interesting session on quality. Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes is just one of several national initiatives to improve the quality of care in long-term care facilities. Among the free resources available to providers are care guides, fact sheets, webinars and downloadable instructional videos.
At one recent webinar, 1,800 facilities participated! It is reassuring and inspiring to know, that in the midst of many challenges, long-term care providers are still striving to make quality care a top priority.
