Examining Competencies of the LTC Workforce

The United States Department of Health and Human Services has released an interesting report on the competencies of the long-term care workforce. The article is entitled, "Examining Competencies for the Long-Term Care Workforce: A Status Report and Next Steps." 

Overall, it does not paint a very complimentary picture of the skills found among long-term care providers and does state there is much room for improvement. The article can be accessed here:
