Artel Launches Online Training Videos
Artel, Westbrook, ME, a liquid handling company, announced the launch of an online series of pipetting technique training videos at http://www.artel-usa.com/. The new addition to the company's training tools includes a series of 10 two-minute videos designed to enable labs to increase the quality and efficiency of their liquid handling operations. Educating operators with the videos can lead to more efficiency and less liquid delivery errors and faulty data, according to a company press release.
Each of the 10 episodes in the series will cover one fundamental of pipetting technique, such as plunger pressure and speed or selection of the proper pipetting mode. The series premier focuses on pipette tip pre-wetting.
Besides the new videos, Artel offers several training tools, including pipetting proficiency certification seminars to train lab personnel on improving their pipetting technique.
