CLMA Names New CEO
The Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) announced it has completed its relocation from Wayne, PA to Chicago. Last month, CLMA selected the Chicago office of SmithBucklin to be the association's full-service management company.
"SmithBucklin will provide CLMA with best-in-class educational programs, publications, seminars and networking opportunities that will allow us to continue to serve our current and future members at the highest quality level possible," said C. Anne Pontius, CLMA president.
"I am also pleased to announce that Mary Beth Hepp has been selected as the new CEO of CLMA. She has a wealth of experience in healthcare and association management, having served as executive director for the Society for Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, Inc. Hepp also worked for the American Red Cross in a number of capacities, and possesses strong leadership and management skills."
Hepp said: "I am excited and honored to serve as CLMA's CEO. I look forward to helping CLMA to accomplish its goals, expand its reach and provide value to members and the entire laboratory management industry."
