Help Us Plan Our 2012 Calendar
It is hard to believe that nearly half of the year 2011 has come and gone. Summer is just days away.
Starting this month, the ADVANCE for Medical Laboratory Professionals team is already looking at our calendars with our eyes on 2012. As we are doing so far in 2011, we hope to look at some of the most promising directions for the field of medical laboratory science. The international healthcare community is looking at smarter and more effective methods of improving and savings lives; the laboratory community continues to reach out to patients to work harder to explain its vital role; we are seeing more and more laboratory professionals collaborating to succeed in positive reinforcement of the idea that the work of the laboratory professional is much more than a job -- it's a viable and blossoming career, even into 2012 and beyond.
We can never be without laboratories and laboratory professionals, to be certain. And the field is moving onward and upward. Our goal is to stand by you as the laboratory profession morphs into its role as an even more important backbone for the entire healthcare system.
