Facebook Feedback: Courses and Issues
If you're not following us on Facebook,
you're missing a lot of fun feedback. If you are, keep following and spread the
word! The conversations are far from over.
We asked Facebook fans: What would you say are the MOST PRESSING issues facing laboratory professionals in 2011?
Here are selected responses,
copied verbatim without editing:
SHORTAGE, lack of communication between bench techs, leads and supervisors.
Pay and lack of
shortage of employees
No money in the
budget to hire workers, yet they expect you to work OT to cover shifts. My OT
alone would pay for a .5 employee. The expectations aren't logical.
Respect for our
staffing and respect from other departments.
I've given up
constantly with staff shortage
Being told to
break rules because it's good for "business".
also asked Facebook fans: What was your
favorite undergraduate course?
