At AACC/ASCLS: Film Array and Blood Culture Panels... with Breakfast

FilmArray's respiratory panel - a simultaneous multiplex PCR detection system -- made a positive stir with its 15-target panel. But Idaho Technology has gone a step further and has announced a 20-target Film Array respiratory panel, now FDA approved.

In about an hour this multiplex platform tests for: adenovirus, coronaviruses HKU1, NL63, 229E and OC43; influenzas A, A H1, A H1 2009, A H3, B; metapneumovirus; parainfluenzas 1,2,3,4; RSV; rhinovirus/enterovirus; and bacterias - Bordetella perussis, chlamydophila pneumonia and mycoplasma pneumonia.

In addition to offering complete information at the Idaho Technology Booth 3030, the company is hosting an informational workshop on The FilmArray and Blood Culture ID Panels presented  by Frederick S. Nolte, PhD, D(AMBB), F(AAM), and Raymond H. Widen, PhD, on Tuesday, 7 to 8:30 a.m., in the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, San Jose Room.  Need another enticement? Breakfast will be served.
