At AACC/ASCLS: So Much to Learn, So Little Time

Published July 16, 2012 9:44 AM by Valerie Newitt

Hollywood is but a stone's throw away, but tinseltown can't hold a candle to the glow of opportunity right here at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the goings-on at AACC-ACLS 2012. With endless chances for learning and discovery, the biggest dilemma for attendees  is which session, which booth, which opportunity to grasp at any given moment.

One possibility is unfolding today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Sebia's booth 4743 where David F. Keren, MD, professor of pathology and associate director of clinical laboratories at the University of Michigan will preside over an Ask the Expert: Electrophoresis session. Bring questions; Keren will provide answers.

Keren is well-equipped to tackle the subject. He is author of the newest edition of "Protein Eletrophoresis in Clinical Diagnosis" and well as some 160 peer-reviewed articles, 13 books, and countless chapters in other books.

He has earned numerous awards - from the likes of AACC, ASCP and universites for his proclaimed teaching skills.

Keren will be available for informal chats today, and will also be available by appointment on Wednesday.  And when you stop by to "Ask the Expert," you also will be offered a chance to win a copy of Keren's new electrophoresis book.
