Consultants software programmers to develop a SmartPhone app for weight loss.
The laboratorians randomly selected a total of 128 overweight subjects for 6 month clinical trials. It seems that laboratory test show the participants are better able to manage their food intake and lose weight compared to other calorie counting techniques.
The app tracks the individual's food intake and exercise regime of each user. In addition, the electronic sets a weight loss target, and provides a weekly progress report by text message. Weight loss doesn't get any easier than this.
At the conclusion of the study, SmartPhone app participants lost of 10 pounds.
