Welcome to Lab Quality Advisor, a New ADVANCE Blog
As Quality Advisors for COLA Resources Inc., we, Nancy Alers and Irwin Rothenberg, will provide a wide range of technical and organizational assistance to medical laboratories who want to achieve and maintain a culture of quality. We are proud to be part of the new Continuous Quality Partnership initiative that emphasizes the development of an on-going, intrinsic culture of laboratory quality that optimizes the quality of patient care. We both began our careers with COLA in the Accreditation Division; Nancy as a Technical Advisor, and Irwin as a Surveyor and later, a pre-survey Technical Consultant. In our new
ADVANCE blog, we will share our knowledge, field experiences and insights and we will suggest resources to assist laboratories to achieve more efficient and responsive laboratory operations that provide greater value to physicians and their patients.
