NP Needs Help for Haiti

Published March 17, 2010 8:17 AM by Jill Rollet
Florida nurse practitioner Luc Bouquet has been in Haiti since January, helping with earthquake relief. A native of Haiti, Bouquet has been volunteering a few times a year at the nonprofit Haiti Clinic in Cite Soleil, Port-au-Prince's largest slum. Now the situation for the clinic and its patients is even more dire. Read a profile of Bouquet in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bouquet recently contacted his colleague Jean Aertker, NP, with this message: "I am in the process of organizing mobile clinic for the remote area. I am in need of providers and medications. Please help. I have tents set up for people to stay if people want to come."
