Update: As part of its annual listing of the best jobs in America mentioned here yesterday, CNN Money also ranked top jobs by growth, and PA was came in at No. 3, behind only biomedical engineer and telecommunications network engineer.
Here's my favorite line:
No, they're not the ones in doctors' offices checking your temperature; that's a medical assistant.
I've been waiting for years for a reporter to make that distinction!
And by the way, nurse practitioners came in at No. 65 on the list of best jobs, and they weren't among the top 20 top jobs by growth.
