Meet Linda Pierce, NP-S!
Hello to everyone, and I hope you enjoy this ride along with
me as I continue into my second year of classes. Monday, July 8th marked the
beginning of the second year of nurse practitioner classes for me at Frontier
Each term I completed has been faced with a lot of
anticipation; however, this one is slightly different. Last term, I had two
classes to take: pharmacology and primary care. I have always completed my
classes with excellent grades, even making honor roll and dean's list in my BSN
As the dust settled at the end of last semester, I was 0.25
points from a passing grade. My world was crashing in, or so I thought it was.
I was not even sure what to do in regards to next semester; after all, I had
already registered for summer classes.
As I've learned, failing a class is not the end of the world.
There were things that pulled my focus away from classes last time and looking
back, I see how things will be different this time.
I doubted the ability to blog about my journey to graduation,
but after thinking about it, others find themselves in my shoes often and if
hearing from me will help you see that you are not alone, then that is why I am
So pass or fail one class, and go forward. Take what you have been taught and come
out with a 4.0 this time.
