I am in nursing school right now and have worked as a CNA for 2 years. I am 6'5&amp;quot;, and rather muscular. Needless to say,when I walk into a patient's room, they are a little taken back. Once they get to know me, they feel more secure knowing that I'm there with them taking their first steps after surgery. &amp;nbsp;As for the &amp;quot;too dumb for med school&amp;quot; steriotype, what people really need to understand is that nursing is a completely different occupation than MD. I personally think that things will get better. There are a lot more male nurses working in all sorts of facilities than even 5 years ago. &lt;/p&gt;
