Change is not always comfortable, but it's an opportunity for growth. New things are fun or challenging in my eyes, and I often wonder why people resist it.
But what happens when you are the facilitator of that change? How can you make it easier for others involved?
I've been asking these questions for a while now and still don't seem to have the right answer. I've been reading books, asking questions and I still don't think I've really grasped how to make transitions easier for others. I often feel frustrated because I just want those involved to see how much better it will be when the dust finally settles.
The only thing I know I do well is provide consistency, even when talking about new concepts. I think I also can be comforting, especially when I am confident in the direction I am going. My weakness tends to be that I want to make it better for everyone. And that's why I get upset.
If you have experiencing facilitating change, I'd love to hear from you. Any comments or suggestions appreciated below.
