A former Georgia resident, Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Reinhardt College and has a bachelor of arts degree in communications with focus areas in media technology and journalism as well as an English minor. Jessica joined the
ADVANCE team after graduation and has earned several writing awards in her years with the magazine. At home, Jessica enjoys capturing her son and family on camera for her scrapbooks. She also enjoys paper crafts and tackling new projects on her sewing machine. Jessica can be reached at

Jill Glomstad, Managing Editor
Jill has been immersed in the world of occupational therapy since she came to ADVANCE in 1998. She holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadephia, where she completed a dual major in English and International Relations. In her free time she enjoys engaging in such meaningful activities as making soap with her mother for their small business, playing with her cats and watching cartoons with her husband. EJ Brown, Editor
E.J. has 35 years of reporting experience and has been editor of ADVANCE for Occupational Therapy since 1990. An award-winning writer, she was a keynote speaker at the 1998 Illinois state OT conference. A graduate of Eastern University, St. Davids, PA, she has been listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who in America. Her first book, An Overview of Early Intervention written in collaboration with longtime OT practitioner and educator Jane Sorensen, was published in 2006. EJ can be reached at ebrown@merion.com.
