Ringing in the new year...

It is new years eve and I am looking back on the year very happy. Over this year I finished my Master's degree, took my certification exam and.....passed! I have been so excited and can't wait to get my official certificate and license and officially call myself an OTR/L. This year my daughter turned two and what a fun age it has been! She is the funniest kid I have ever met and all I do is laugh at her! I can't wait to see what next year brings now that all the stress of my life has been relieved!

Hi Megan,%0d%0aI had a great experience at NEIT. I was part of the first class so things have gotten even better since I finished. It is 2 years of academics on Friday nights and all day Saturday so it is still possible to work. I would recommend working part time if it is financially possible for you because this program is very intense! It can be accomplished working full time but it will consume your life! I am happy I have done it and would do it over if I had to.%0d%0a

Hi there, I am currently in a COTA program and am thinking of going for my masters after. I was looking into NEIT and was wondering how your experience in program was as it seems like the only school around that offers such a great opportunity for OTA's to continue on for a masters! I was wondering also is it 2 years of academics and then 1/2 year of field work?
