Welcome to December and the return of the Pediatric Perspective blog
"How did it get so late so soon? Its night before it's afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?" ~Dr. Seuss
OK, raise of hands, how many people were caught by surprise that it's already December!? I know I was. Where does the time go? I remember my mum & dad would always say how we should enjoy being kids while we could because the time just speeds by once we become adults - I'm now finding out no truer words were said.
So, it's been 3 months since my last blog. It was to be my last blog as I had a lot of things going on in my personal life and I did not feel I was being fair to Advance or to you, the readers. The last three months has found me becoming much more organized with both my work and personal life. I have been able to get a good deal of information gathered and shared with regards to Dyslexia and I hope to continue to be able to share information with anyone who needs it but in the past three months I have found that there has just been something missing in my life.
One of my passions has always been the ability to write and share what I know with others to hopefully help make their lives easier. I have really missed writing and sharing information with all of you so I recently wrote to Advance to see if there might be a way for me to return to the Pediatric Perspective and resume blogging. I am so happy to say that the response I received back was a positive and welcoming one and I was told I could resume blogging! I have, in turn, assured Advance that I will be fully committed to writing a weekly blog once again. What a wonderful Christmas gift to me! and I hope, in return, I can return the gift by once again sharing strategies, inspirational stories, and techniques that might help you with the wee ones in your life.
Please join me back here as I resume the Tuesday Tidbits on a weekly basis. From time to time I will also be adding additional blogs sharing information I feel would be helpful that I may have come across on the web, or in the magazines, or through life experiences. As always please feel free to email or comment with anything you would like to see me blog about.
I look forward to seeing you all back here again on Tuesday! In the mean time - good luck with your holiday shopping and stay safe and sane. :)
