From the Archives: My daughter's emerging personality.
In these snippets from the archives, I capture some of the first hints of the sassiness and creativity that would become my daughter's amazing and unique personality.
January 22, 2005:
This afternoon, during my ritual prying-information-out-of-A.-about-her-day, A. sighed, and told me ever-so-sweetly: "Mom, could you stop talking please?"
I shall defer to her wishes.
February 3, 2005:
My daughter is changing her name to Smokey. Seriously. She's even writing it on all of her papers at school. I imagine this is a direct reaction to that whole giving-her-a-name-nobody-can-pronounce thing.
