AAPA Names New EVP/CEO
William F. Leinweber will be the next executive vice president and CEO of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Leinweber is currently the executive vice president of Research!America.
(Alexandria, VA) - The American Academy of Physician Assistants, the only national organization to represent physician assistants in all medical and surgical specialties, has announced the appointment of Bill Leinweber as the organization's EVP/CEO, effective February 25. In this position, Leinweber will report to the AAPA Board of Directors and will oversee all operations of the Academy, including fiscal oversight; provide strategic leadership to the Board of Directors; and incorporate tactical implementation of strategies for the organization. Leinweber currently serves as EVP of Research!America, the nation's largest non-partisan advocacy alliance for medical and health research.
