New PA Special Interest Groups

Published April 10, 2008 5:16 PM by Stephen Cornell

The April 15 issue of AAPA News includes a report on three new PA special interest groups:

  • The Association of Physician Assistants in Hospital Medicine
  • Physician Assistants for Health Freedom
  • Physician Assistants in Infectious Diseases
  • On the surface, the new PA special interest groups recently approved by the AAPA Constituent Relations Committee don’t seem to have much in common. Their interests range from hospital medicine and freedom of choice in medicine to infectious disease.

But the PAs who helped start the fledgling groups have a similar mission in mind. They aim to create an informal community of AAPA members to network and inform others about their interest.
