DFAAPA Profile
The Borger News-Herald of Borger, Texas, published a profile of DFAAPA Scott Gordon.
Local physician assistant Scott S. Gordon, MPAS, PA-C has been nationally honored for going “above and beyond” in service to his community and profession.
The Distinguished Fellow Program, in cooperation with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, AAPA, has named Gordon as a Distinguished Fellow. This recognition was earned due to Gordon’s outstanding contributions to patient care and the medical profession during his years as a physician assistant, PA. He has also demonstrated significant dedication and involvement in the community of Fritch.
Gordon is currently working as the primary care physician at the Fritch Medical Clinic, where he has been for 10 years, and has been a practicing PA for 16 years. He served in the National Guard for 28 years before retiring in 2006 to pursue his profession full-time.
While working as a medic for the National Guard, Gordon received his PA degree from the Army’s Physician Assistant program, graduating with distinction.
