Army PA Takes Command

Col. Michael Robertson, PA-C, has taken command of the 31st Combat Support Hospital at Fort Bliss in Texas.

Col. Michael A. Robertson Sr. took command from Col. Roberto Nang, who had commanded the unit since 2005 and will become a strategic war instructor at the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Penn. Nang commanded the unit during a year-long deployment to Iraq.

Robertson comes from the Office of the Surgeon General in Washington, D.C., where he was the 5th Chief, Physician Assistant Section and Assistant Chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps.

Col. Robertson has served in the U.S. Army since 1972 and graduated from PA training in 1981.
