AAPA Seeks to Hire Another Staff PA

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) is currently recruiting for the position of director, clinical affairs and quality care. AAPA’s offices are located in Alexandria, Virginia.
AAPA is seeking a physician assistant (PA) to serve as director, clinical affairs and quality care (DCAQC). As a PA on staff, the DCAQC will serve as a representative of the PA profession, take a leadership role in scientific and public policy discussions, participate in scientific and public health initiatives, monitor health care topics of interest and importance to PAs, ensure PA representation on initiatives related to quality care improvement, communicate important initiatives to PAs that will affect their practice, and build and sustain relationships with government agencies, professional organizations, and other scientific and pubic health organizations.
The DCAQC, in concert with the vice president, science and public health (VPSPH), coordinates AAPA efforts in patient safety, quality care, and health information technology.
