Fair and valid questions posed; Obama appears to have responded more personally and definitively whereas McCain responded in generalizations. Obama has tax money and control methods defined with his responses and McCain has promises to evaluate issues and include PA's in his findings. If you can believe that the money will be available and are willing to pay for the programs through higher taxes and service fees, then Obama's plans are for you. I have concerns about some of his proposals, in particular the one about requiring hospitals to have bilingual capabilities, at whose expense and what languages? His plan will also require us to inform the public about disparities and take steps to reduce the disparities. What is involved in that effort? McCain has direct and personal experience with PA's and knows our abilities and value.
