Indiana Physician Assistant Named a 'Health Care Hero'

Published October 17, 2008 10:55 AM by Stephen Cornell

The Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly honored physician assistant Brian Laursen as one of its Health Care Heroes.

Brian Laursen has six primary employers in the health-care field and often works 60 hours a week serving the Fort Wayne community.

It is his dedication to the profession, primarily as an orthopedic physician assistant at Fort Wayne Orthopaedics, that has earned him the respect of patients and peers.

“The rewarding thing is I do a lot of pediatric care,” Laursen said. “I see patients in dire medical need and injuries. I see them reobtain their goals in sports or just in daily living.”

Wow.  The person that honored him NEVER was a patient of his.  He was a pompous jerk who made me cry and wouldn't listen to me and acted arrogant.  EVERYTIME I call, I tell them I refuse to see him and get to see the REAL doctor.
