The Special Election Is Over

The American Academy of Physician Assistants' special election for president-elect for 2008-2009 ended 51 minutes ago.

This special election was the first test of the AAPA House of Delegates' new electronic voting system. There were no problems, according to AAPA vice president Bill Fenn. "Always a good thing when testing in real time!" Fenn said in an e-mail.

The AAPA plans to announce the election results on its Web site on Dec. 23.
