Thanks for Listening
I am now able to say that I have officially graduated from PA school. I may not be able to add the "C" to the end of my title until I pass my boards, but I am able to say that I'm no longer a student. It's such a strange feeling to finally be done, because PA school so easily became such an identifying part of my life.
Graduation was such a wonderful ceremony and so full of emotional moments. I had the chance to reflect on the last 26 months of my life -- with my friends, family and peers alongside me, as they've been all along. I knew it was going to be one of the most climactic and rewarding moments of my life.
Now begins a new and exciting chapter of my life. After a brief vacation, I'll continue the search for a job and prepare for my certification exam. I'm not sure that it has fully hit me. This journey was such a long time coming. I suppose that my journey really isn't over, but instead is just evolving as I push forward as a brand new PA.
It's still mind blowing to me to think of everything I've learned and how much I've grown as a person since the beginning of it all. It's also been such a gratifying experience to be able to share my insights with all of you as I worked toward my goal. I'd like to thank you all for listening to me and sharing in my reflection through everything. It has been so much more than fulfilling, and I'll cherish it forever. Thank you so much!
