ADVANCE Covers the Action at CSM!

Published February 15, 2010 2:07 PM by Brian Ferrie

This week the American Physical Therapy Association will hold its 2010 Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in beautiful San Diego and you can count on ADVANCE to be there for the exciting events, educational sessions and attractions! CSM will take place at the impressive San Diego Convention Center, located on sparkling San Diego Bay in the heart of a vibrant downtown. Within mere blocks of the center is a beautiful marina with scenic walking paths as well as the famous Gaslamp Quarter - San Diego's hottest dining and entertainment area with more than 100 bars and restaurants, from upscale steakhouses and delicious ethnic fare to intimate jazz clubs.

Cheryl Resnik, PT, DPT, president of the California Physical Therapy Association, added that the conference programming at CSM is top-notch. "I always attend CSM," she told ADVANCE. "In my mind, this conference has the best concentration of education in specific areas because it's put on by the sections. So if you want to really focus your education on a specific topic, you can do that. And if you want to be more of a generalist, you have a wonderful opportunity to pick from the best education options. If I could only go to one conference a year, it would be CSM."

So check the ADVANCE Website daily from Wednesday the 17th through Friday the 19th for blog posts highlighting sessions and news from the conference. Then come back next week to see photo galleries from scenic San Diego and next month for video interviews with APTA leaders, including President R. Scott Ward, PT, PhD!
