Holiday Trivia

Published December 22, 2010 7:05 PM by Jason Marketti

Rather than discussing therapeutic events and treatment ideas, or even problem areas in the rehab setting, I thought a bit of trivia was in order.

The Festival of Lights is also known as _______.

In the movie "A Christmas Story," who is Victor?

What is Howard Langston searching for in "Jingle All the Way?"

How much money did Uncle Billy lose in "It's a Wonderful Life?"

The common name for a poisonous hemi-parasitic plant in the order Santalales is called ______.

What is Ronald McKinley Everett best known for?

Who does Dominick the Donkey help Santa Clause bring presents to?

Frosty the Snowman's first words are _______________.

Name the eight Reindeer who were in a poem in 1823 and one other created in a book in 1939.

In addition to the main theme song, two other songs are sung during the holidays on the "It's a Small World" ride at Disneyland. What are they?

The questions are full of holiday spirit. But I have watched those shows over and over and still do not know all the answers. I guess I am watching but not seeing or listening. Merry Christmas to all!!!

I'm feeling like I should officially change my name to Bah Humbug Scrooge.  I've never been good at trivia, but I figured a Christmas trivia surely I could get.  Nope.

A sad note, the "It's a Small World" ride at Kings Island (northern Ohio's version of DisneyWorld) no longer exists.  It was my favorite ride in the park.  Now it is a creepy ghost and goblin shooting game :-(  Bah Humbug.
