A Day in the Life of a PT Student

About A Day in the Life of a PT Student

As a student I often times wonder "Am I the only PT student that feels this way." After long discussions with fellow classmates, the feelings appear to be mutual... well sometimes. This blog will document my experiences as a PT student, including my likes and dislikes, what I have done, what I wish I would have done, as well as ways to balance life and the transition into becoming a "professional student."

About Veronica Haywood

Veronica Haywood is a current Marquette University physical therapy student and resides in Milwaukee, WI, however, her hometown is Chicago, IL. Unfortunately, she does not have any family in Milwaukee, but has formed an extended family composed of friends, professors, and co-workers.

As a child, Veronica always had an interest in the healthcare field, but never really knew what aspect of it she wanted to explore the most. Over the years, she discovered her interest was in Physical Therapy. She started her journey at Marquette University in 2004 as an Exercise Science and direct admit Physical Therapy student. Veronica later changed her undergraduate major to Athletic Training. She recently completed coursework to receive a Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training along with completing her first year of coursework for a degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
