With School Comes Stress

Published January 13, 2009 3:09 PM by Veronica Haywood
School has officially started and I am already stressed. I am, however, very excited about the classes that I will be taking. Some of the classes I am taking include biomechanics, LE orthopedics, neuro-anatomy, medical neuroscience and life span development.

This will be a very interesting semester. So far all of my teachers are great (I have had a few in previous semesters). Even though I originally thought that I was not going to enjoy all of the neuro, after my clinical I realized that there is so much about the brain that remains a mystery, and I would like to explore it more. I became very interested in the things that create personality changes, causes of dementia and the progression of it, etc.

Hopefully I'll have a lot of information to share and maybe some experiences from work. This will also be very interesting considering I will also be studying for my BOC to get certified in athletic training. Can't wait!!!
