Welcome to my world!
Finally, the blog is started! And like any true blog, my first post must be an introduction.
My name is Lisa, and I am a PT student at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. I have my bachelor's degree in Spanish and am about to start my 6th and FINAL SEMESTER of classes this fall. Next spring I have two 8-week internships and then I will graduate with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
During my junior year of college I was able to study abroad in Madrid, Spain- and it was easily one of the best times of my life.
I am married, and have been for 1.5 years. Going to school and keeping a healthy marriage together is tough at times- but I am very lucky that my hubby is as supportive as he is.
Currently I am in the last week of a 10-week internship. I have been learning a lot this summer at this outpatient, orthopedic internship and am really getting into the swing of being a real PT. I've seen some interesting cases and it's been a great experience to see everything that I studied previously.
I really am in shock that I even have the opportunity to blog in a PT community as a student. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts and experiences, and I encourage you to comment or ask questions along the way.
