After practicing in home care as a physical therapist for 17 years I found myself married to a British citizen. I made the decision to relocate to the United Kingdom and seek work there as a "physio". Dean Metz has worked in home care settings for the past 17 years as a physical therapist progressing from a staff PT up to rehab manager and now to care management specialist who trains other clinicians, not just physical therapists, how to work on a multi-disciplinary team to effect optimal outcomes and reduce hospitalizations for at risk frail elderly. He is committed to the pursuit of enabling older adults to age at home in the safest, most comfortable, and dignified manner while lowering the cost to families, health care organizations and the community as a whole.
