Products for Autism Awareness

Published 19 March 10 01:33 PM
Spread autism awareness this April for National Autism Awareness Month and throughout the year.

National Autism Awareness Month happens each April, and the Autism Society of America offers up seven ways to get the word out about autism, which affects one in every 150 American children, and almost one in 94 boys, according to the society. The suggestions include hosting an event, donning autism awareness products, teaching others about autism and helping people learn the signs of autism. The Autism Society of America is also promoting its Bounce for Autism fundraising events all across the country.

If you're seeking autism awareness products to gear up for a fundraising event or spread the word about autism, we have some products specifically for National Autism Awareness Month, including an exclusive design for 2010 National Autism Awareness Month.

These autism awareness T-shirts show our 2010 Autism Awareness Month design, and the bright design stands out on the white pre-shrunk T-shirts. You can take advantage of volume discounts on our autism awareness T-shirts, too, making the T-shirts a good choice for giveaways at fundraising events during National Autism Awareness Month. The shirt says, "National Autism Awareness Month April 2010 - Breaking Through Barriers with Courage and Hope."

If T-shirts aren't what you're looking for, we have plenty of other autism awareness products that range from pins and jewelry to nursing clogs featuring the autism awareness puzzle graphic. A portion of the proceeds from the autism awareness nursing shoes goes to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, and the shoes would be great for healthcare professionals who work with autistic patients.

About Lynn Jusinski

After an internship at a home magazine where she wrote about media rooms and $500,000 pool renovations from the comfort of a teeny, cluttered dorm room, Lynn Jusinski graduated from a small college in Pennsylvania and then moved on to write for two weekly newspapers in suburban Philadelphia. A column she penned for the papers won an award from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. In 2007, Lynn moved back to the magazine world, and worked full-time as an associate editor for ADVANCE for Health Information Professionals. Her work on the magazine led to “Rookie of the Year” honors and a second place feature award in the annual Editorial Excellence Awards presented by Merion Publications Inc. In her free time, Lynn is typically stuck in traffic, shopping, reading, constructing poorly made crafts and hanging out in and around her hometown.
