Introducing All New Koi Scrubs

Published 21 May 10 12:26 PM
Pretty prints, little details and vivid colors make up the new collections.

Our customers love Koi scrubs. The well-made pieces coordinate well and the cuts are flattering to figures. The newest additions to the Koi scrubs at ADVANCE feature some bright prints and the signature cuts known to the Koi line.

Want proof that customers are enamored with the line? Here are some reviews on other Koi products we carry.

  • "Love the Koi products. Have several Koi scrub outfits," N. Davies of Florida wrote.
  • "Beautifully crafted garment," Donna from Virginia noted. "Exceptional coloring with detail, flattering accents. Extremely comfortable, not binding with movement. Good quality that doesn't fade or shrink. I would recommend to all who love well put together separates that give that professional quality with work garments."
  • "My favorite brand and style of all time in scrub pants," Cissy said. "Great fit, comfy, washes/wears great. So comfy and breathable. I have them in lots of colors."
  • "Perfect fit, great quality fabric, washes well, roomy pockets without being bulky. Extremely comfortable!" Cynthia gushed.

If all of that sounds good to you and you'd like to try out Koi scrubs (or if you're already a Koi devotee looking to add to your collection), I chose a few of my favorites from the summer line. The bold prints aren't too loud, and the interesting details make the tops stand out from other lines. In addition, all of these Koi scrub tops coordinate with one of our customers' all-time favorites, the Koi Lindsey Multiple Pocket Pants.

The white background on these Koi scrub tops, with a print called "Inspiration," really makes the colors stand out. The "Inspiration" Koi scrub tops have a little bit of a boat neck cut but so much that you'll have to yank your sleeves over during your shift. The many colors ensure that the Koi scrub tops with the abstract print match many of the scrub pants you have. The sleeves on these Koi scrub tops are gathered, and the top features to side pockets where you can stow your stuff.

Next, I like the Koi "Suzuki" print scrub top. It's the little details that make this particular Koi scrub top stand out, like the mismatched yet coordinating buttons, the patterned purple trim at the hems and the décolletage and the sateen sheen of the fabric. These Koi scrub tops are stylish enough to be worn off the hospital floor, too.

Finally, I chose the "Saigon" print Koi scrub tops as one of my favorites in the new Koi collection. With Asian inspiration and a nice cinch that highlights the waist (What Not to Wear would be so proud), this scrub top's little details make it special. A small keyhole at the neck, a mashing of three complementary fabrics and a sturdy trim around the collar and sleeves are the sort of things that make healthcare professionals maintain loyalty to the Koi line of scrubs.

What do you think of the new summer line of Koi scrubs?

About Lynn Jusinski

After an internship at a home magazine where she wrote about media rooms and $500,000 pool renovations from the comfort of a teeny, cluttered dorm room, Lynn Jusinski graduated from a small college in Pennsylvania and then moved on to write for two weekly newspapers in suburban Philadelphia. A column she penned for the papers won an award from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. In 2007, Lynn moved back to the magazine world, and worked full-time as an associate editor for ADVANCE for Health Information Professionals. Her work on the magazine led to “Rookie of the Year” honors and a second place feature award in the annual Editorial Excellence Awards presented by Merion Publications Inc. In her free time, Lynn is typically stuck in traffic, shopping, reading, constructing poorly made crafts and hanging out in and around her hometown.
