Although this makes FINDING a job in our field much easier, it doesn't really ensure that you will ENJOY your job or your place of employment. Although securing a job and working to support yourself and your family should be top priority, loving what you do each day will support your overall HAPPINESS as a person and as a therapist.
So, with the dawning of a new year comes the possibility of change! Maybe you are graduating soon and are looking for a Clinical Fellow position, maybe you are re-entering the work force after maternity leave or maybe you simply would like to make a position leap within the field. Whatever your motivation may be, the jobs are there and today's post will help you find them!

With each of the websites listed above, you can search for the different type(s) of position you may want. You can also search at the local, state, national and even international level, depending on the company and what they offer. In order to look specifically for "Early Intervention" positions, make sure to type it in order to narrow your search.
Two additional avenues you could take in order to find your ideal speech job is:
- Research the "Speech-Language and Hearing Association" in the state when you live. For example, people interested in working in Pennsylvania could search PSHA's (Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association) website for job opportunities.
- Research specific schools, hospitals, businesses, etc. to see if job openings are available. If there is a place where you would like to work, give them a call or check out their website! You never know when the job you've always wanted will open up and will be there waiting for you! Good Luck!!
