New Year!

Published August 20, 2012 12:22 PM by Alexandra Streeter
As I write this, I have 2 more weeks before school starts, however I know that in many parts of the country you are already back to school!

Do you have some new school year resolutions for the year?

I always do, and here they are!

1) Remember that bulletin board I described last year? This year I will have it up and running!

2) Creative scheduling! Before school starts I always have grand plans to have a more creative schedule...it seldom pans out! For example, could I manipulate the schedule to have a multi grade level /r/ club? Or could I figure out how to get older kids to work with the articulation students a couple extra times per week for increased drill? I always have these ideas, but in practice it's difficult to set it up. Maybe THIS will be there year!

3) Be a better collaborator! I love collaborating with other staff members, but I always try not to impose or assume they want to collaborate with me! Maybe this year will be the year to do a better job.

4) Last but not least, I'm looking forward to incorporating an IPAD into speech therapy! Hope I can make good use of it!

I always get excited about the new school year! Do you? What are your resolutions?
